Unreturned ISO Shipping Containers

As reported in this USA Today article, late fees for unreturned ISO shipping containers have surpassed $900 million since 2001. One factor that has heavily contributed to this problem is the lack of an adequate secondary containment system. When equipment and supplies are loaded into MILVANS without secondary containers, the MILVANS arrive in theater and remain there for use as field storage. MulePAC solves this problem because it was designed for all weather conditions. When a MILVAN loaded with MulePACs arrives in theater, it is easily and quickly unloaded and returned. Ranging in size from 19 to 77 cubic feet, MulePAC will accommodate most of your equipment and supplies, and the integrated document pouch will provide complete visibility of the container’s contents. Empty MulePACs are easily collapsed for outside storage until needed for Redeployment or Sustainment operations.
